Have Vespa Scooter Will Travel

The Vespa scooter has long held a place in pop culture and history as a reliable and affordable vehicle to travel with. It's also an extremely fashionable vehicle, what could be more romantic than a couple riding off into the sunset on a trusty Vespa scooter.

Besides its iconic status there are many other reasons to think of this scooter when you decide that this is the mode of transportation that you want. It doesn't matter how old you are, as this scooter was designed with ease of use in mind. If you can ride a bicycle then you can ride a Vespa scooter.

History

The Vespa scooter first emerged in Italy from the ruins of World War II. With the Italians forced to seriously curtail its aeronautical industry, many companies were facing bankruptcy with their industries completely destroyed. Out of this financial crisis the Vespa scooter was designed as an affordable way to travel on many of the bad roads in post World War II Italy.

The designers took into account the fact that a Vespa scooter had to be easy to ride so that both men and women could ride it. It also had to carry more than one person and keep the rider's clothes clean. The original Vespas were inspired by Cushman scooters commonly used by the U.S. army in Italy.

Today

Today Vespas have been redesigned for modern use. There are even Vespa models with glove boxes, making it easy to ride your scooter without worrying about where to put important things such as documents, your wallet or cell phone. The new Vespa scooter has also been redesigned to have a more powerful engine. It can carry anything from a 50 cc two stroke or four stroke engine to a four stroke 150 cc engine.

The Vespa will definitely be able to take you places. Its compact design makes it perfect for any city that has congestion problems or narrow roads and limited parking. It is always a more affordable option than a car and has many advantages over a conventional motorbike. It's perfect for someone who does not have the confidence to ride a motorbike but does not want to drive a car.

Besides the practicalities, the Vespa will always remain an iconic vehicle. Owning one is like owning a piece of design history. Its beautiful aesthetic qualities are sure to win you over if its function is not enough. It is the perfect way to bring some European flair into your life.
