The BT3100 Ryobi Table SawFor a long time the BT3100 Ryobi table saw was only available in the United States but recently Ryobi has begun to make the saw available in other regions like Australia and to make the BT3100 more attractive Ryobi is also offering an accessories pack with the new overseas models as well. One of the most helpful things you will find in your accessory pack is an instructional DVD that will walk you through setting up and using your new Ryobi table saw. The BT3100 comes in a very durable packaging system that protects the dozens of parts that come along with it. Once you get the unit out and set up then you are ready to get to work and that is something that the Ryobi table saw is very good at and has been for many years. Getting Started And Getting To Work The BT3100 is a standard 10 inch table saw and you will have a wide variety of manufacturers to choose from for blades. The saw comes with a starter blade that is not quite the durability of a standard blade and while this starter blade is great for straight cuts you may want to consider getting a regular blade right away as the starter blades do not last long and cross cutting across the grain with a starter blade will not leave as smooth a cut as a regular blade will. Make sure you get a blade rated for at least 4,800 RPM if you intend to use it in your BT3100 Ryobi table saw. Be careful when starting up a table saw because it can give a little jump when it starts. The BT3100 offers a softer start than most so you can reduce any issues right away with this saw. The BT3100 also has a very decent dust collection system that can get the debris out of your way so that you can get to work and get the job done. |
