These fountains are ideal for hotel courtyards, gardens, or even homes. Types Of Fountains And Spray Shapes Many different types of garden pond fountains are available. Sometimes fountains for certain applications are called pond aerators or water aerators. These, as mentioned before, add much needed oxygen to the water. Other types of fountains for garden fountains are for looks only. They don't aid to the maintenance of the water, but add to the look of the yard or setting.
