Another popular piece of office décor is a plaque or picture designed to motivate the individual or help them relax. These pictures can display almost anything that the worker desires. Motivational prints are very popular at the moment and can be purchased from many retailers. Other popular topics for the prints include beach scenes, humorous quotations, cute animals, and inspirational comics. It is very important that the print be inoffensive to others in the office, and if you believe that the print may be a little risqué, leave it at home. No office would be complete without pictures of loved ones prominently displayed. This makes the photograph frame an important piece of office décor. Many manufacturers create collage style photograph frames so that individuals can display pictures of different family members in a compact amount of space. These photograph frames can be made of wood, glass, metal, or plastic and come in a variety of styles and colors. Some offices allow their workers to bring in small plants to add to their office décor. These plants need to remain small and should be cared for to ensure that the plant remains healthy. No manager wants to see a half-dead houseplant that may be attracting insects or a tree growing out of a cubicle. Workers may want to refrain from buying flowering plants as a co-worker may be allergic to the pollen it creates. When choosing office décor it is important to be considerate to the individuals around you. |
