Lennox Heating -High Efficient Furnaces

Due to the high cost of heating a home and concerns about polluting the environment people are choosing high efficient furnaces for their homes. In 1992 the Department of Energy came out with a new regulation in order to make home furnaces more efficient. Manufactures of home furnaces must produce furnaces which at a minimum covert 78% of the fuel they use into heat. The Department of Energy will consider a furnace to be a high efficiency furnace if it converts over 90% of the fuel into heat. Some Lennox heating furnaces exceed the high efficiency rating level set by the Department of Energy.
