Often these associations will be able to recommend a business that is in good standing within the community. They can tell the consumer if there are any complaints regarding their service. These complaints are kept track of and will show whether or not they have been resolved with the consumer in question or if action is still pending. Franchises One additional way of minimizing risk by selecting the right service is to determine whether they are a franchise or not. Often a carpet cleaning business that is part of a franchise might be more expensive, but the assurances that they bring might be worth the extra cost. That is because franchises have to follow a certain standard of operation in offering the service. This is part of the franchise benefit in that certain services need to be offered, the quality and performance of that service is standardized and the warranty offered by the franchise is backed by its assets and good name. |
