Carpet Cleaning Tip #5: Don't Overuse Industrial Cleaners Many people make the mistake of applying too much detergent, shampoo, or spotter; thus leaving a residue on the carpet that can be dangerous to small children or pets. Too much detergent will not be removed 100%, even with thorough vacuuming. Carpet Cleaning Tip #6: Don't Over-wet The Carpet Most of the popular rug cleaners don't require much water to be effective. By making the mistake of over wetting the carpet, you may cause brownout, carpet shrinkage, adhesion problems, and all other kinds of nightmares. |
