Using Broadband CableWith the cable comes the option of using different speeds to get the internet. They will all be broadband but at different speeds. Most people don't need the fastest speed and the middle speed is usually preferred by most customers. The middle speed is enough to run most internet games on. Teenagers who play their game consoles online with other kids from all around the world might want the fastest service but it will work fine with the middle services most of the time. If there is a problem with the broadband cable, a parent can if they desire, sign up for the faster service. Broadband Cable Negatives There are some negatives to using broadband cable and the customer or potential customer should understand them before signing up for the service. One negative is the cost of the broadband. Each of the potential speeds cost different. The faster the speed, the higher the cost will be. For some families, this might not work into the budget. Another negative to broadband cable is the chance of construction personnel cutting through the cable. If this happens, there won't be any service until the break can be found and repaired. If it is not in a residential part of town it can take a while to find the breakage under ground. If people have their services bundled, this could cause the stoppage of everything that works under that service. Broadband cable is easy and most of the time reliable and the negatives that do happen are usually few and far between. |
