Although bigger space is ideal for making a beautiful garden, there is really no rule that say that you cannot create something beautiful out of a few square meters of space. The secret in creating beautiful garden is its design and lay-out. If you have a nice design which fits the amount of space that you have, you can always create a beautiful garden even in a closet size space.

Creating a beautiful garden is not really an easy task. You can't just get some seeds and cuttings of plants, put them in the soil and hop that everything will turn out just find. To be able to create a beautiful garden, you need to invest a lot of time, effort and money. To help you create a beautiful garden with the limited space that you have, here are some tips for you.

Planning and Designing Your Garden

The first thing that you need to look into if you want to create a beautiful garden with what limited space that you have is the design of your garden. Measure the available space that you have to determine the area that you have available. Once you have you area measured, draw a design that will fit into that space that you have.



To help you design your beautiful garden, buy some magazines and books about gardening. Select a beautiful garden design and work on it. If possible, use a garden design and lay-out that is intended for small spaces just like yours.

In case you cannot find a good design that fits your floor are, you may choose a garden design that is good for larger gardens and just reduce the scale of the design to fit your small space. However, be very careful about down scaling designs that are intended for bigger gardens because you might end up with an overly crowded garden with plants growing out of proportion.

Since you have limited space for your beautiful garden, choose simple designs and use plants that do not really grow big. If you are planning on using ornamental plants in your garden, choose those types that only grow a few centimeters.

Using pots will help you add more plants in your garden. Decorative pots can also enhance the look of your garden. To maximize whatever space you have, use some iron racks to hold your pots. You can also stack potted plants using some decorative iron racks.
