Also, look for an appraiser who provides fair rates for his or her services. (Sadly, some appraisers offer inflated and unfair rates) In order to find an appraiser who is fair it is best to conduct a little market research into those appraisers who have a solid reputation in the field. Ultimately, the ability to maintain the value of antique clocks is the responsibility of the owner. If the owner does take the initiative to protect the value of his or her investments, then the investments will forever be safe. |
